Alone, with family or friends: create your at-home spa with these fab face masks

There are sometimes when spending a lot of money to take care of yourself is not necessary. Because having time at home for taking care of your skin is a pleasure every woman should have, at least, once a month.

 

With the following homemade face masks, you will not need to spend a fortune to nurture your skin and treat some skin problems such as acne, skin ageing or even hair loss. Invite your close friends or do it on your own or with your family and try these delicious homemade face masks!

 

The first step before starting the self-care process is to wash your face with some soft soap, like glycerine or one specific for the face. It is important to eliminate any residue of make-up. Let’s go!

 

Face mask for dry skin: Avocado and almond oil mask

Mash with a fork half a ripe avocado and add two teaspoons of almond oil. In case you don’t have almond oil at home, you can also use mineral oil (or baby oil) as a moisturizer. One mixed the two ingredients, apply it all over the face and leave it for twenty minutes. Then, remove it with lukewarm water.

 

Face mask for oily skin: Yogurt and apple cider vinegar mask

First of all, you will need two tablespoons of plain sugar-free yogurt combined with a quarter teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Mix it and apply it to your face for around 30 minutes. Wash it with warm water and then finish with a cold-water rinse.

 

Face mask for average skin: Aloe vera, almond milk and brown sugar mask

Mix a teaspoon of brown sugar with half a teaspoon of almond milk until it dissolves slightly. Add approximately four tablespoons of aloe vera juice. If possible, extract it from the plant directly. Spread the mix on your face and let it work for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove it with warm water and a soft towel.

 

Face mask to exfoliate the face: Strawberry and yogurt mask

Smash the medium strawberries (which are a natural source of salicylic acid) and mix it with a teaspoon of plain sugar-free yogurt. Apply it on the face and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes. Then, remove it with warm water and a soft towel.
